Sandylands is a seaside comedy series starring Natalie Dew as Emily, Sanjeev Bhaskar as Les, alongside Hugh Bonneville as the insurance investigator known as ‘the One Eyed Man’.

Emily Verma is living the high life (or so she tells herself) in London, having escaped the clutches of her hometown where her semi-estranged father Les Vegas remains a local celebrity as arcade owner and self-proclaimed ‘King of the Strip’. However, when Sandylands becomes headline news after a bloodied pedalo is washed ashore, Emily is forced to make a reluctant visit home, where she quickly discovers that all is definitely not what it seems in her old stomping ground.

Filmed on location in Weston-super-Mare, the show is known for its offbeat humour and eccentric characters, providing a light-hearted and entertaining look at life in a small British coastal town.
