The seaside comedy returns for a second series. After taking to the high seas in a pedalo to escape the clutches of insurance investigator the One Eyed Man (Hugh Bonneville), Emily (Natalie Dew) and Les (Sanjeev Bhaskar) return home.
The series revolves around the offbeat inhabitants of the titular seaside resort. It also stars Harriet Webb, David Walliams, Sophie Thompson, Simon Bird, Bronwyn James, Hamza Jeetooa, Craig Parkinson, Collins, Darren Strange, Janet Pince and Radha Sthanakiya. The second series is due to air in 2021.
Promenade, located on the seafront at Weston-Super-Mare, was used as a filming location for some of the show’s filming back in 2021.
Sand Bay Beach is a sandy beach in Kewstoke which is owned by The Crown Estate and and was one of the most used filming locations in North Somerset for the show.
